I used this private chef experience for a birthday weekend recently, and the Kitchen Nemesis chef was phenomenal. The overall experience lasted about two and a half to three hours (not counting their prep), and yet it never felt intrusive. The chef and sous-chef were friendly and engaging, like having friends in the kitchen. The five-course pairing dinner was unforgettable: the shrimp with white wine garlic sauce was a fresh spin on tapas, the burrata with fig jam, hot honey and tarragon was perfect, the cod with potato purée, onion jam, olives, and capers was extraordinary, the crispy chicken thigh with saffron-chorizo risotto had bold, rustic flavors, and the classic crème brûlée was flawless. The portions were generous, and the prices were beyond fair. They even cleaned up so thoroughly, it was as if they were never there. I had the pleasure of experiencing a tasting menu by Chef Manoj of Kitchen Nemesis at a private dinner, and it was such a wonderful experience.

Each dish on the tasting menu was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I loved the way Chef Manoj’s dishes bring together Indian and Peruvian influences in a way that felt creative, unique, and delicious.

Every course offered something different, while still feeling cohesive as a full tasting experience. You could really taste the intention and creativity behind each dish.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Manoj as our personal chef for a special dinner event in our home.
From the beginning, he was highly involved, taking the time across several meetings to listen to our vision and offer creative suggestions to tailor the evening. The resulting menu was completely customized, thoughtfully curated, and exceptionally fresh. Because much of the preparation was handled upfront, the execution in our home was seamless. His team arrived needing only to apply the finishing touches or where fresh prep was necessary, which kept disruptions to our guests at an absolute minimum.

The dinner itself was well-timed, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent. Our guests particularly appreciated his well-executed fusion of European cuisines (highlight was the German white asparagus dish, which is difficult to execute) across multiple courses, which made the meal far more exciting and engaging than a standard single-cuisine menu. Manoj and his team were discreet yet fully present throughout the evening, delivering a pleasant and unique experience.
